Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use Bumbleweb or visit bumbleweb.com, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to run the service, and we don't sell personal information.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, your business's name, your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your billing country and which plan you're on; your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
- Your website: the text, photos and settings you add, and messages your visitors send through your contact form.
- Technical data: IP addresses and basic request logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To run your website and account, bill you, send you emails about your account and your site (such as trial reminders and billing notices), answer your questions, and protect the service from abuse.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run Bumbleweb: Stripe for payments and Resend for sending email. Your website's fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, which doesn't log visitors. We'll share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open. Backups are kept for up to six months. When a site is closed, its content and backups are deleted 30 days later; we keep a basic record that the site existed, and billing records as the law requires.
Your choices
You can see and change your details in your account. To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email us.
